I can’t forget in a hurry that incredible feeling I had the moment I realized Jamb was in a few days. I was certain I was going to “murder it”. Although I didn’t get there overnight but trust me, you too can have that exact assurance if you will follow thoroughly the steps I took before that great day.
There are no “but’s” here, I had tried several techniques- while some worked, some didn’t. After getting it right, I came to the realization that jamb is not as hard as people think it to be. You only need the right guide. Yes! You heard me.

This is why I have carefully selected 3 steps that will guarantee your passing jamb without reading all the material in your library. Won’t you like to know how?
Here is how!
Start from where you are
Behind every success in life is the dark days of preparation. Jamb 2020 approaching you is not a time to wish that you had read completely the new school chemistry nor a time to confess impossibilities on any of your subject combinations. It’s a time to act fast and also wise.
The same way you get your humongous chores- washing, sweeping, mopping, ironing done step wisely on Saturdays and see them all done at the end of the day. You can also start from your zero level and you’ll see how much you have covered in that little time that ticks.
You just find out your preparation level by asking yourself sincere questions like, “how many topics on chemistry can I handle?”, “How many hours of studying do I make per day?”. Then set actionable and achievable goals like- I want to finish matrices this weekend and solve 10 past questions on it!

Set reading times it may be 2 hours at evening or sort, just a feasible time you’ll honour. Not the time you know you may probably be sent on errands. Mind you, no chatting, calls, sleeping or gistings should be entertained during those periods. That’s how success begins. Don’t forget you’re your own architect
Study smart and not large
Excellence is not only about working hard, but working right. Craft out simple study pattern that works for you, for example after each topic I often look for how jamb extract questions from those them and attempt 10-20 questions thereafter. I got easy reads- check out www.tryjambcbt.com/topics, self-explanatory textbooks, past questions of which I study from. Few days to my exam I had done at least 10 years in each subject, you can do more even with the time left.

Learn to use “CODES”, they help! Like someone hinted me (Boyle’s law is VIP i.e. Volume Inversely to Pressure), in Electrochemistry hints like (OA and RC i.e. Oxidation at Anode and Reduction at Cathode). You can learn them as songs too like Avogadro’s law, It is not being dumb. It is being smart!
Pay attention to formulas and emphasis – if you are a science student keep a book of important formulas and read them from time to time so they can enter your sub-conscious. Know when to apply them, know conversion of units. For instance chemistry students need to learn all functional group attachments. Others can pen down points of emphasis, bullet them, re-read and rehearse them. And don’t be scared, you’re not going to do that forever.

Keep practicing and put a close measure on your progress
One thing I know practicing will give you apart from familiarity in solving similar problems is that of speed and accuracy. Mere sighting a question, you already know what and how to do it. Don’t be lazy, pick up your pen and work! If practicing them becomes boring, here is what you can do – discuss those subject with friends of like minds and see how fun it is to learn in group.

You will soon realize at the end that you have “suddenly” become bold in solving mathematics- you have a lot of formulas and bulleted points within reach on your memory. You may even be fortunate to meet question you have solved before in the exams. You know that feeling –like a boss!
Finally, make sure you keep track of your achievements. “Can I now do differentiation?” is an appropriate question for a maths student to measure progress. “How many percent am I prepared on physics, is it 70%?”. That’s how you evaluate yourself, and don’t just say it by mouth. Take a practice test, I recommend www.tryjambcbt.com and let’s see how far you have gone.

Don’t forget to reply ask me any questions about anything as regarding this jamb, all we anticipate is to see is for you to check your jamb results and smile. After all, the pain is worth it!
